Aspects Total Training are participating in the (CITB) Employer Network initiative, now running in the West Midlands covering the following areas.
Birmingham, Black Country, Coventry & Warwickshire
This enables employers to get access to scaffold training with 70% of the cost covered by CITB. The employer just needs to cover the remaining 30% – this is great news for Small to medium sized businesses investing in company growth and employee investment.
Example – CPD Refresher Course – cost is £415.00 (excluding VAT).
- 70% = CITB pays £290.50
- 30% = Employer pays £124.50

Employer Networks are an initiative funded by CITB, designed to simplify how construction employers access the training and funding they need. This service aims to make it easier for businesses to enhance their workforce skills without the burden of complex paperwork.

- CISRS: All CISRS accredited scaffold & Inspection training courses
- Plant Training: Onsite plant training
- Site Safety Plus: Remote courses like SSSTS, SMSTS, TWC, TWS, and Directors Role for Health and Safety.
And many more.
Key Objectives:
Easier Access to Training and Funding: Employer Networks offer simple ways for employers to connect with training programs, whether it’s for immediate skills or future needs.
Plus, there’s no paperwork needed to apply for funding. Just contact your local CITB advisor and they will do the rest for you.
The Employer Network will contact your local training provider in your area, like ourselves to get the relevant training information, confirm and secure the booking on your behalf. That’s less time spend on your training administration.

Joining the network will not only simplify access to your training needs but also avoids the larger outlay of funds to commence training that some of the other funding and grant schemes require.
Eligibility & How To Join
To qualify for the (CITB) Employer Network Construction Training Funding, your business must:
- Be in the construction industry
- Be registered with CITB
- Stay up-to date with your CITB levy
